Yemayah video by Sean

Phonetic spelling and meaning (not exact translation)
of the song for Yemaya:

Oda assessu
Oni Yemaya
Oda assessu
Oni Yemaya

Agota que le oh
Aw assessu

Wede wede acho e wede
Wede wede acho e wede

This healing mantra is from Mother Africa. She is the Goddess of the Sea from whom all the other humans and gods come. The Goddess is very protective and caring. Assessu is the Gushing Spring and Yemaya means the Ocean of Life. Envision the two uniting – the river flowing into the sea – the flow of consciousness meeting the ocean of Universal Being. If you hear this chant sung – it is as much as close as words can get to the beauty and bliss of the genuine thing. Yemaya's domain is the top layer of the sea which is viewed as the womb of life where life on earth was created. Legend has it that when her uterine broke, the water caused an immense flood on the Earth that created the Ocean and the first woman and man were her children.

This is the English interpretation from Sean's video:

She created the gush of the spring
We solute the mother of the children of the fishes
Water is the mother of the children of the fishes
We wish long life to you that gushes gently
We come to the gush of the fast spring with the clothing of leaves
The fast one with the clothing of leaves
Yemaya is the fast one with the clothing of leaves
The fast one with the clothing of leaves ...
